Ford Company advertising campaign materials, ca. 1940-2001 and n.d.

Photo transparencies, logo sheets, posters, presentation and other materials used in the development of Ford Motor Company car and truck ads and related client ad campaigns. There are also advertising subject reference files for creative use and JWT Detroit agency promotion materials. The collection features 76 posters and presentation visuals, 2 black-and-white and 154 color slides, 33 black-and-white and 45 color negatives, 191 black-and-white and 106 color prints, 40 black-and-white and 93 color contact sheets, 7 black-and-white and 648 color photo transparancies. There are 3 VHS videocassettes containing an 1998 ad campaign, as well as 2 CDs and one 3.5 MacIntosh diskette containing 4 computer files with artwork for other ads. The computer files have been migrated to the Special Collections Server. Acquired as part of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising & Marketing History.
