150th anniversary miscellany, 1952.

A collection of materials generated by the Public Relations Dept., the Advertising Dept. and the Employee Relations Dept. in preparation for the company's 150th anniversary, which was celebrated July 18, 1952, on the site of the original Eleutherian Mills. The collection includes records of planning the ceremony, invitations, guest lists, programs, souvenir books, photos, publicity and press clippings. There is a report listing the items placed in the time capsule that was buried on the site on November 11, 1952. A folder of historical information includes a brief chronology and history of Du Pont, notes on the Eleutherian Mills site, a history of the Du Pont oval, and items from the 100th and 125th anniversaries.
