Contains a treatise on justices of the peace, including 'the most noble and excellent philosopher Plutarche reporteth...' The author refers to 'this county of Buckingham', and says he was at the Bedford gaol in August 1565. There are two books and then 'A charge for the sessions of the peace'. mentioning statutes to 14 Eliz. I. Attributed by Baker to William Fletewoode of Great Missenden, Bucks., serjeant at law.
