Carbon copies of typed legal briefs, arguments and essays regarding Pueblo Indian land rights in New Mexico, with particular emphasis on the Congressional Act of June 7, 1924, which created a Pueblo Lands Board. The undated documents include an argument and brief for the U.S. District Court of New Mexico case of The United States of America on the Relation of the Pueblo at Sandia and for the Pueblo of Sandia v. Pedro C. Garcia, by R.E. Twitchell, Special Assistant to the Attorney General of the United States; Indian Law and Needed Reforms by Jennings C. Wise of the District of Colombia Bar; a Memorandum Brief on Statutes of Limitation Set Forth in the Act of June 7, 1924, submitted before the Pueblo Lands Board by George A.H. Fraser, Special Assistant to the Attorney General of the United States; and comments by Lucius C. Embree. Accompanied by two two-page mimeographed sheets, "Legal Section Technical Terms" and "Real Estate Section Technical Terms." The name Mark W. Radcliffe appears in manuscript in an unidentified hand on the cover of the ring binder from which the manuscript was removed.
