Voices of time: selected manuscripts, 1962-1965.

Typescripts and correspondence. The twenty-six typescripts, selected and edited by J. T. Fraser for the book, THE VOICES OF TIME: A COOPERATIVE SURVEY OF MAN'S VIEW OF TIME AS EXPRESSED BY THE SCIENCES AND BY THE HUMANITIES (1966), are in various states of outline, draft, and revision. The chapters are essays on conceptions of time from the perspective of a wide range of disciplines including philosophy, Eastern and Western religious thought, language and literature, psychology, as well as evolution, biochemistry, relativity, quantum theory, and thermodynamics. Also included are biographical sketches of the contributors. The correspondence between Fraser and the contributors documents the editing and compilation of the book. Correspondents include: Milic Capek, Herbert Dingle, Richard Schlegel, Satoshi Watanabe, and Edward J. Zimmerman.
