The collection includes two letters to Sir Richard Webster concerning the Lambeth School of Art and mentioning a John Sparks (Aug. 13, 1892, Nov. 1, 1898); a letter declaring Charles Wood to be his assistant (Jun. 29, 1893); a letter discussing modeling a reduction of the cast "Joy" located at the Royal Academy (Sept. 8, 1896); a letter to Harry Furniss (Jul. 11, 1910); and one sheet of detailed sketches and instructions to the framer of a mural monument to the British mathematician and physicist Sir Gabriel Stokes. Included is a letter from Mary Thornycroft to an unknown woman concerning a sculpture of "Eve" (Oct. 18--?)
