The collection is organized according to the various committees and boards Parker chaired or served on primarily in the areas of reactor and radiation safety, and radioactive waste, including committees of the Atomic Energy Commission, National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Three Mile Island Special Inquiry Group). There is also correspondence related to Parker's work at the Battelle Institute.
