Correspondence, memoranda, and reports document administrative issues, supervisory questions, and staff recruitment at Harvard Medical School and the Thorndike Laboratory. Also includes correspondence and notes documenting Ingbar's work to reduce goiter and other thyroid diseases through iodination of water supplies in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, and the United States. Correspondence, notes, and memomoranda describing Ingbar's publications on the thyroid gland, hormones, public health, and molecular biology are also included.
