Oral history interview with Nathan Pearson, 1993 October 15.

Nathan Pearson has worked in Paul Mellon's Pittsburgh office since 1947. Pearson recounted his early employment at the Carborundum Company and the circumstances of his work for Paul Mellon and Ailsa Mellon Bruce. He explained his association with the A. W. Mellon Educational and Charitable Trust and other foundations. He described his impressions of the National Gallery and of people with whom he worked, especially John Walker and Ernest Feidler.
