This series contains two messages from Israel Pickens to the Ala. General Assembly. The first, 1822 Dec. 18, concerns funds allocated for the building of public roads. Also included is Gov. Pickens' annual message to the Assembly, 1824 Nov. 16, which discusses the State University, county officials, the State Bank and census returns.
