Letters to Angelo Rognoni and one of his manuscripts, 1914-1957.

The collection consists of letters to Angelo Rognoni from artists, writers, publishers, theater directors and friends, along with one manuscript by Rognoni, "Fabbrica + Treno," a 23 pp. "parole in libertà" from 1916. Much of the material from 1914 through 1925 concerns Futurist projects and publications such as "La Folgore futurista," a journal Rognoni edited with Gino Soggetti. Most of the letters from after 1930 regard the publication, staging, or adaptation to radio of Rognoni's plays, especially La fiaba di Namù and Mita e Golú. The largest files of letters are from Antonio Marasco (158 items), Ettore Gian Ferrari (129), Guido Orzi (84), Irma Vassia (77), F.T. Marinetti (74 items including copies of occasional writings), Gianfilippo Carcano (40), Antonio Chiodo (31), Armando Mazza (24), and Paolo Buzzi (21). Many of the files contain Futurist postcards.

ca. 1.5 linear ft. (4 boxes).
