Geologist. Page, a member of the Stanford class of 1933, also earned his master's degree in 1934 and his Ph.D in 1940 at Stanford. He joined the Stanford faculty in 1943, becoming full professor in 1952; he was head of the Geology Department from 1957-62 and again from 1965-68. He retired in 1976.
