Childhood; years at Berkeley; life on Mount Hamilton in 1919; early years of marriage. Comments and anecdotes on the history of the Mount Hamilton road; the various telescopes; mountaintop living in 1919 and in the post-1945 period. Description of her husband's career (Charles D.
