Frank Joseph Galati, Jr. was born on November 29, 1943 in Highland Park, Illinois to Frank Galati, Sr. and Virginia Galati. Bbeginning in 1962, Galati attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate, where he was an active member of the University's dramatic performances.
