Settlement of suit filed against the U.S. Military Academy by the West Point Foundry with $293.42 being awarded the foundry in payment for guns; official correspondence from Bender and others including bills, recipts for goods and services to the Military Academy; West Point clothing and equipment return 4th quarter, 1826; specifications for mahogany chair with sketch; recipt for printing and lettering done by Thomas Grimbrede; recipt for print; recipt for materials to be used by the Department of Drawing in the instruction of cadets, signed by Mackay, Grimbrede and Thayer; recipt for having oxen reshod; contemporary copy of orders, 20 July 1828, placing Mackay under arrest, signed by W.J. Worth.
