This collection consists principally of letters from Thomas S. Compton to his wife, Susan Whitlow Compton (1886-1970), and letters from Susan to her husband. Letters from relatives of both Thomas and Susan are included, as are papers pertaining to Thomas Compton's death and funeral, and to legal matters aubsequent to his death.
