Case histories, 1884-1946.

The Massachusetts Reformatory was established to rehabilitate males convicted of lesser crimes and not considered habitual criminals. Case history books of printed forms functioned as a register of inmates received as well as a summary history and description of each inmate, with some data added after admission.
