Correspondence with Otto Struve [microform], 1932-1963.

This collection consists of the prolific, sometimes daily correspondence between the two astrophysicists that began in 1932 and continued until Struve's death. Topics include cometary physics, stellar spectroscopy, shell stars, nebulae, and interstellar medium. The collection comes from Swings' files and consists of nearly 700 letters: 402 from Struve, 268 of Swings' carbon copies and drafts, and a few letters from others. Also contains a few miscellaneous items including a draft of a symposium paper, "Interstellar Molecules," (1940) by Swings.
