Tate's forest law collection, ca. 1582.

A collection of entries on forest law. The first volume contains transcripts of the records of the forest eyre of Windsor, 24-25 Eliz. I (1582). The second volume contains transcripts of records of forest eyres from Hen. II to Edw. III, and few legal notes. On fo. 92 of the latter, are extracts from the chartulary of St. James, Northampton, in the possession of Sir Hatton.
