These photographs document the Italian sites, art and architecture of the Lazio and Puglia regions. Views of the southeastern region of Puglia document the art and architecture in and around the provincial town of Lecce from antiquity to the 18th century. Coverage of Puglia also includes the areas of Acquarica del Capo, Presicce, Ruffiano, Taurisano, and Ugento. Photographs of the western yet central region of Lazio document the art and architecrure around the provincial town of Viterbo from antiquity to the 18th century. The photographs of the Lazio region include the areas of Bomarzo/Mugnano in Teverina, Castiglione in Teverina, Celleno, Graffignano, Graffignano/Sipicciano, Grotte S. Stefano/Montecalvello, Lubriano, S. Michele in Teverina/Civitella d'Agliano and Viterbo/Roccalvecce.
