Primarily Greene's correspondence from 1906 to 1946, relating particularly to his work for the Department of State, the China Medical Board of the Rockefeller Foundation, the American Committee for Non-Participation in Japanese Aggression and the Committee to Defend America by Aiding the Allies. He was also associated with the China Foundation and Harvard-Yenching Institute, and his correspondence relating to his work with these and other organizations is also part of the collection.
