The collection consists of fifteen items, several on British Museum letterhead, including: seven letters and one postcard, 1914-1924, some undated, to Mr. Adcock, about writing Binyon was invited to do for the magazine Bookman; letter to Mrs. R.P. Conkling, 15 Dec. 1914?, from aboard the Lusitania, praising her poem on Rheims; note to Dear sir, 10 April 1919, making an appointment to meet; three letters to Dear Roberts, 1928, about his new ode, including a new section of the verse to replace a previously sent one, as well as sending a proof of his poem, The Idols; also, proof copy of The Idols, an Ode, 1928, with some corrections by Binyon; letter to Mr. Canby, 3 Dec. 1935, responding to a request for his poetry, with mention of Tagore; signed manuscript poem of ten lines, undated, with title, The Blue Appearing.
