The collection consists of copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates obtained or hand copied from records in town clerk offices in Connecticut, along with copies of obituaries, military records, newspaper articles, and original photographs of headstones related to the families of George W., William Clark and Sylvester DeForest of Ridgefield, Conn. Most of the materials are arranged in a set of four three-ring binders. The original sheet protectors and black paper backings were removed and replaced with archival sheet protectors.
