Ray Martin collection of music scores, 1950-1972.

The collection contains the original manuscript scores in the composer's own hand and numbered 1 through 342. In all, there are a total of nearly 600 pieces when the unnumbered individual songs written for 21 of his albums are included. All of the scores are stamped with his American Federation of Musicians registration number.

Ray Martin was a composer, arranger and conductor for BBC-TV, Columbia Records, RCA, and motion pictures. He was born in Vienna where he graduated from the Vienna Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. More than a dozen of his own recordings made the Top Ten Best-Seller Lists. He sometimes wrote under the pseudonyms: Tony Simmonds and Lester Powell.
