Lloyd Thornton Brown, 1880-1961, AB, 1903, Harvard College; MD, 1908, Harvard Medical School, was an orthopedic surgeon who specialized in chronic diseases. A faculty member at the Harvard Medical School, Brown practiced at Massachusetts General Hospital, Children's Hospital, and Faulkner Hospital in Boston, Mass. Dr. James Jackson and Dr. John C. Warren initially sought funds for a hospital in Boston, Mass. which would also be made available to student s of the Harvard Medical School for clinical training.
