Three brief descriptions of the paintings, carvings, and statuary in the Chapel, Great Hall and Centre Court of the hospital, including works by James Ward, Sebastiano Ricci, Grinling Gibbons, and a painting designed by Antonio Verrio and finished by Henry Cook. One of the descriptions appears to have been taken from an 1848 edition of the Athenaeum and another from "Faulkner's Chelsea."
