Personal and professional correspondence, campaign memorabilia, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, reports, legislative materials, notebooks, photographs, and publications related to Wigglesworth's career as legal advisor to the Asst. Secretary of the Treasury (1922-24), U.S. representative from Mass. (1928-58), and U.S. ambassador to Canada (1958-60). One particularly well documented aspect of Wigglesworth's career is his role as a member of the Committee of Experts of the Allied Reparations Commission established in 1924 under the Dawes Plan following the default of German reparations payments. Correspondents in the Dawes Plan materials include Douglas Miller, Andrew W. Mellon, and Ogden L. Mills. (Cont'd) The papers also contain materials relating to Wigglesworth's World War I military service with the 303rd Field Artillery and his involvement with the Harvard University Alumni Association.
