Bibliotecha par el Martino Sarmiento Benedictivo (bibliographical treatise), 1748.

A sequence of bibliographic essays prepared as a guide to the formation of a private library. Sections are devoted to types of author (e.g. Authores Griegos Gentiles; Authores Polygraphos) or to types of writing (Colecciones de Politicos; Histories de Naciones). An author's note explains that the guide is designed for the use of gentlemen, professors of law, etc., and that he has largely eschewed academic texts; devotional, moral and genealogical writings; and collections of modern literature and poetry.
