Project on the History of Modern Oceanography: oral history interviews, 1975-1978.

The project concerns the origins and growth of oceanography in the United States, and examines the development and expansion of the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.
