Contains original, corrected typescript and printer's corrected copy of Soledad brother, along with a heavily annotated copy of the paperback, publicity, and reviews. Includes a corrected typescript of Armstong's, My brother, George, which was published as The dragon has come, and two copies of the screenplay, Brother George (based on The dragon has come): one with text only by Armstrong and Jack Cummins, and one including stage directions by Cummins. Collection also contains a small amount of correspondence, including letters written by George Jackson, Lester Jackson, his father, and Fleeta Drumgo to Armstrong, as well as correspondence with Fay Stender, Jackson's attorney, and with literary agents, and others concerning publication of the book. Concludes with a few clippings and copies of articles concerning Lester and Georgia Jackson.
