Original two page manuscript entitled "Le moindre éffort," signed Francis Picabia décembre 1950, and published by Pierre André Benoit. The document was written for Benoit on the subject of minimum effort as it relates to abstract art and academicism. Also included is a four page announcement for Picabia's exhibition at the Galerie Colette Allendy in Paris from December 13, 1950 to January 12, 1951. On the inside two pages Picabia writes a statement about abstract art and comments on the impact it has had on him since 1907.
