MGLA c 35, s 28B (St 1973, c 1166, s 1 as amended) provides in each county for an advisory board on county expenditures consisting of a representative from each constituent municipality: city manager/mayor or designee or board of selectmen/town council member, with weighted vote per member based on county tax assessment. The board reviews, holds hearings on, revises, and approves annual county budget submitted by commissioners. Minutes records board proceedings.
