Letters, 1897-1925.

In a letter to a patron (1897), Jeanniot inquires when she may show her design. A letter of 1910 to Thadée Natanson discusses paintings by Maurice Lobre that are for sale. A letter of 1925 is a brief response to an enquête, addressing such issues as the possibility of artistic novelty, whether art can be taught, the need for a theory of the decorative arts, and the nature of expressiveness - with some detailed comments on Rembrandt and Raphael in the last regard.
