James Martineau letters, 1850-1876.

The collection consists of two letters: to My dear sir [J.B. Cooke], 20 Feb. 1850, apprising him of a meeting of a committee connected with the Manesty School; also, to My dear Mr. Knowles, 8 Jan. 1876, sending him some papers for Contemporary Review, and lamenting the work of Dr. Ward, whose papers are outside the Society's parameters.
