The album, containing eleven B/W photographs, documents a small chapel at Childerly, formerly the Crane family estate and now the Crane Company Retirement Place and Grounds, in Wheeling, Illinois. Although the designer of the chapel, built in 1926, is unknown, the interiors were finished with works by Andre Derain and Alfeo Faggi. The chapel was commissioned for Emily Crane Chadbourne.
