Account of a journey to deliver dispatches to Bombay. Includes descriptions of travel by government steamship from Falmouth to Malta with stops in Gibraltar and Algiers, by a Brazilian brig from Malta to Alexandria, by land across the desert to Suez via Cairo, and by company steamship from Suez to Bombay, ending up in Madras. Also includes notes on expenses, currency, and luggage. Title page and one internal page detached.
