French translation by Le Veillard of Benjamin Franklin's memoirs (also negative photostat of this item) made in part from a fair copy sent by Franklin to Le Veillard in 1789, and in part from the original (now in the Henry E. Huntington Library) sent to Le Veillard in 1791 by William Temple Franklin in exchange for the fair copy; together with an undated letter from Le Veillard to Franklin concerning an invitation from Mme. Brillon and a drawing.
