Betty describes her memories of her paternal grandparents, her Aunt Clara, her father's sister. She describes her father's birthplace in Clintonville WI and his mother and father, and the family trips there in the summer. Describes the farm that her father bought in Ann Arundel County, Maryland on the Patuxent River, its use as a victory garden and a family getaway. Discusses other family members, and her brothers. Also discusses her latest work in archaeology.
