Papers, 1885 and undated.

Notes and papers, mainly in the field of Medieval and Renaissance studies, including autograph manuscript versions of Alcibiades in Aristophanes and Terra cotta reliefs from Argos. Much of this material is allied to Paton's studies, Mediaeval and Renaissance visitors to Greek lands, and The Venetians in Athens, 1687-1688. Much of the material deals with the study of commercial relations between France and Athens in the Morosini period (late 17th and some of 18th centuries), the development of consular service in its present form in Europe, and the manuscripts of Cyriac of Ancona in the mid-1400s. The original material used in these studies is not part of this collection.
