The collection consists of a small group of miscellaneous materials removed from the Yerkes Plant. They include company histories, histories of cellophane, a tribute volume to Leonard A. Yerkes, plant employee magazines, and actual samples of the first run of cellophane from 1924 and of the last roll of cellophane produced at Yerkes in January 1968.

Millard Fillmore was born in Cayuga County, N.Y. and later became a resident of East Aurora and Buffalo. He was a lawyer, local office holder, State Assemblyman, U.S. Congressman, N.Y. The Yerkes Plant of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company was named in 1945 for Leonard A.
