Mainly letters to Ross' mother, grandmother, and sister, stressing his religious feelings, but with references to the exhibition of his miniatures at the Royal Academy, and events in London. Also included are a letter of introduction for his cousin, artist John Burgess; acknowledgements of invitations; comments on future travel plans to view exhibitions; and a passport.
