Collection consists of ten letters from Migliara's patrons, including Prince Victor Metternich, the comte de Caraman, and Grigoriĭ Gagarin, who write, often in irritation, regarding payment for and the delivery of paintings. These letters contain some mention of the subjects of the paintings, which include the Cathedral of Milan and angels. Also included is a report from the city of Alessandria, in Piemonte, announcing the award of a medal to Migliara for his genre and perspective paintings.
