Letters concerning books. Morelli expresses relief that the addressee Giambattista Morandi has received a package of books, with one in particular dealing with monuments by Beccadelli. Morelli goes on to dispel the rumor that the Most Reverend Archetti has been elected Patriarch of Venice when in fact he remains a bishop, albeit in a different diocese (1800). The letter to Lodovico Widemann discusses the pagination of a first edition from 1475 of Boccaccio's Teseide (1804). Lastly, Morelli dispenses advice to Bartolommeo Gamba on the laying out of introductory notes for Gamba's book (1810).
