File consists of a two-page letter summarizing Everitt's education in electrical engineering and physics at Cornell University and Ohio State University, and his teaching positions at the University of Michigan, Ohio State University (1930s), and at the University of Illinois from 1945. Respondents were asked to discuss their choice of physics as a profession and the course of their careers, their satisfactions and disappointments, the changes they saw in working and teaching conditions in the field, and relations within the community and with the society at large.
