Administrative research and development files of the Time Project Chamber (TPC) Project, of which Jay Marx was Project Manager and later Scientific Liaison and Acting Spokesperson. Marx was also in charge of project coordination with SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) facilities. Series consists of seminar, workshop, panel and committee papers and talks and lectures of Jay N. Marx pertaining to the development and administration of the TPC Project; correspondence with research, planning and project committee records; experimental research and funding proposals; research articles; travel report; project administrative and staff records (including student theses). Unclassified. Also includes data results of the Mark I detector installed at SLAC; beta decay and pion particle scattering experiments; TPC engineering and project notes; PEP (Positron- Electron Project) experiment reports and Bevatron data. Records series includes Marx and other researchers' lectures and talks on nuclear particles, including kaons, leptons, muons, and charmed particle studies.
