Notes on international law, ca. 1882.

Notebooks made by Richard Henry Dana, Jr. for a new work on international law, most of which was probably written in Rome during the last year of his life. The completion of the project was stopped by Dana'a death. The notes are essentially summaries of other works on international law by Kent, Twiss, Blimtschli, Lingard and Hallam, Mitford, Hale, Heffter, and Grotius.
