The records, most of them from the Garde-meuble de la Couronne and the Bâtiments du roi, were assembled by the repository. They include warrants, receipts, petitions, letters and itemized accounts related to marblework (Duchesnoy, 1682); masonry authorized by Chalgrin and Brunet, 1774-1785; furniture and repairs to furnishings (1774-1791); framing; paintings; tapestries; jewelry (1790); the repair of the Garde du corps (1768); and clothing or upholstery.
