Correspondence; minutes; addresses; reports; articles. Primarily correspondence and minutes of various American Institute of Physics (AIP) committees and AIP Member Societies. Subjects include finance, history, public policy, computer planning, personnel, and grants. Many of the records pertain to publishing, including files of the AIP Publishing Policy Committee, the AIP Publication Board, and the Copyright Clearance Center. Also contains manuscripts of addresses and reports given by Koch, his published articles, and annotated draft and original appendices of "The Story of the American Institute of Physics (1967-1987)" which Koch wrote at the request of the AIP Executive Committee.
