Léon Lipschutz Collection of Dreyfusiana and French Judaica, 1796-1902.

Collection includes 4 manuscript boxes plus over 150 books related to the Dreyfus Affair in France during the 1890s and early 1900s. The collection was compiled by Léon Lipschutz and donated to Brandeis University in 1970. Lipschutz wrote an annotated finding aid that describes each piece in detail. Lipschutz also wrote the book Une bibliothe`que dreyfusienne: essai de bibliographie thématique et analytique de l'affaire Dreyfus. Languages of the collection are English, French and German.
