This set consists of 58 pencil drawings on tracing paper, 8 pencil and crayon drawings on tracing paper, 8 blueprints on paper, 5 blueprints with pencil markings on paper, 3 pencil drawings on paper, 3 blueprints with pencil and crayon markings on paper, and 1 blueprint with crayon markings on paper. This set also includes one sheet of note paper labelled "California Minwax Company", a brochure describing the "Fiat perfected shower bath compartment", and 4 "Notice[s] to bidders" from "Henry M. Greene" consisting of typed sheets and fragments clipped together.

"The Reeve house has been moved twice in its long history of changing ownership. In 1917 Dr. V. Ray Townsend found the house on blocks ready to be carted away from its original site. He bought it and moved it several blocks inland to its second site in Long Beach. Shortly thereafter he moved to the Claremont area but, unwilling to give it up, rented it out for the next ten years. Meanwhile , in Claremont, the Townsends located the Darling house (1903) in which they resided until 1927 when Henry ...
